T.W. Clark Construction has built a reputation on honesty, integrity, customer satisfaction, and high quality construction.  While the firm has only been in existence since 1998, we are comprised of heavily experienced construction professionals who bring with them years of expertise in all facets of the construction field.

T.W. Clark is a full-service building contractor with over 300 successfully completed projects of various sizes and complexities.  These are comprised of new construction, additions, remodels, and tenant improvements.  T.W. Clark’s successes include state-of-the-art luxury condominiums, fitness centers, retail stores, medical and educational facilities, financial institutions, and chemical processing and storage structures in Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

We pursue projects we believe are a good fit for our expertise, experience, and the availability of appropriate team members. In other words, we are looking for a good match for both the client and our company.

Steve Sunleaf
Owner

Steve Sunleaf's technical expertise, through his involvement in the construction industry for over fifteen years, is balanced with an acute talent for cost control, and time and budget management. Steve possesses a meticulous approach to project organization and computer based scheduling. Through the use of strong communication skills, construction knowledge, and a strong attention to detail, Steve ensures that projects are of the highest quality, while being completed on time and under budget.

Jon Huettl
Project Manager

Jon Huettl possesses the critical skills, knowledge, and tools for being an effective project manager. He believes in a process of open communication and efficient decision making. Reports, emails, logs, and frequent updates make certain that the client knows exactly what is happening with their project.
During his time at T.W. Clark, Jon has been effective at managing projects that are completed both on-time and within budget. Jon manages the resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure a successful end product for the client.

Scott Rountree
Project Manager

Scott Rountree provides an in-depth understanding of construction, from estimating project costs based on blueprint drawings to managing the actual construction in the field. Scott began his career working in the field, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, generating project schedules, coordinating subcontractors and purchasing materials. Scott moved to the estimating office and within two years, Scott became a chief estimator. Scott’s estimating abilities have become an invaluable service to T.W. Clark Construction.

Matt Wheelwright
Project Manager

Matt believes that strong communication and collaboration lead to successful projects that are within budget, on time completions, and a quality product for his clients.  He brings over fifteen years of experience in construction; valuable expertise in commercial, multi-family and historical renovations, value engineering, and design build knowledge that have allowed him to be proficient in all facets of the construction project.

Dan Foose
Project Manager

Dan brings 15 years commercial construction management experience to your project with a committment to value, quality, and professionalism.  Combining an attention to detail with a broad perspective results in a proactive approach and smoothly-managed projects.  Clients can depend on thorough communication, reliable cost information, and accurate reports.  Experienced in many market segments: Retail, Mixed-Use, Multi-Family, Education, Public Works, Automotive, Hi-Tech, Medical, Class A Offfice, and Tenant Improvements.

Denette Hill
Controller

Denette brings over twenty-five years of financial expertise to the T.W. Clark Construction operation.  A graduate of Loyola Marymount University, Denette's early career as a C.P.A. included specialization in the area of corporate, partnership and high net worth individual taxation.  For the past two decades, Denette has served as either the CFO or Controller of various manufacturing, real estate development and not-for-profit companies in the Spokane area.

Shannon Fletcher
Accountant

Shannon Fletcher handles all Accounts Payable and serves as the primary contact for vendors and subcontractors, relative to payments due for services. She assists vendors and subcontractors in compiling the paperwork needed to submit a complete, accurate and timely pay application.

Cheri Long
Executive Administrative Assistant

Cheri Long provides direct administrative support to the Owner. She exercises good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and maintains a realistic balance among multiple priorities. She is also responsible for scheduling, answering calls, attending meetings, filing, receiving and handling mail, organizational tasks and various other administrative duties for the Owner.

Robin Whitman
Contract Administrator

Robin Whitman oversees the preparation and revision of contracts, tracks payments, and performs closing activities as needed.

Becky Trevino
Administrative Assistant

Becky joins us with over nine years of administrative experience supporting managers and staff in various fast-paced customer service environments.  Becky assists in all administrative areas at T.W. Clark Construction including accounting, contract preparation, reception, and operations support.
